2 tablespoons Soy sauce

How to cook fried rice
- Cut the chicken into thin slices and cook in the sesame seed oil.
- While the chicken cooks, boil the rice in a saucepan.
- Steam the carrots and peas, but don’t let them get soft enough that they fall apart.
- Add the eggs to a saucepan with a splash of milk and scramble, then add the salt and black pepper.
- Drain the rice and rinse it with boiling water, then add the soy sauce and mix.
- Add the vegetables (including beans if you have them) and the chicken and rice together in the frying pan with the scrambled egg.
- Pour in some more oil (and more soy sauce/salt if you wish) then fry for a few minutes.
- Finely chop up the sage and add it as a garnish, then serve. (Or add it at step 7 and fry it into the fried rice if you prefer)
